Wayne Aistrope is an award winning cinematographer who combines creative passion with impressive technical expertise. In the 7 years Wayne has been shooting as a DOP and the 12 years as a focus puller prior to that, he has brought his enthusiasm and skill to projects of every stature. Whether it be award winning commercials, short films, documentaries or most recently his first feature film “The Independent”, Wayne’s knowledge and talent allow him to adapt to the job at hand. Although thoroughly trained in the art of shooting with film, Wayne has embraced all the new technologies available and is comfortable shooting in any format.
Wayne’s visual style leans toward using natural light and short focus to create memorable images. He is committed to making insightful pictures to extremely high technical standards and he is passionate about finding elegant solutions in an engaging and effective manner.
